History:

I & E Services, Inc. was founded in 1981 by Dan Bierle, and is a full-service landscape design, installation and maintenance firm dedicated to the residential and commercial properties that encompass the North Texas area, including Fort Worth and Dallas. Since our inception, we have been committed to providing our customers with only the highest quality services and results in the DFW area. Our intimate knowledge of the unique climate in this area allows us to properly address the landscape needs of our customers, whatever they may be. Today, the company is run by Terry Bierle, CEO, who oversees the daily operations of the business; and John Harper, VP, who designs and oversees the installation and renovation of a variety of landscapes.

Good landscape design will always begin with the site characteristics, and the owner’s desires. Appropriate design, will always involve basic principles of landscape design, and will involve the budgeting process and the vision of those people involved in the process. Those principles will include Unity, Transition, Balance, Rhythm, Proportion, Repetition, and Focalization. The staff at I & E Services, Inc., is familiar with how all of these elements may be addressed on a singular property, to provide you with spectacular results. This should also ensure the sustained beauty, continued enjoyment, and an overall improvement to your property and its value.

Irrigation:

As North Texas suffered through the drought of 2011, I & E Services was busy instructing its customers on surviving the drought, and developing plans to advocate for improved water usage for future years. To that end, all of our customers should consider drip irrigation, whether it is newly installed or simply retrofitted, in all of their landscape beds. As local cities imposed water restrictions, the Irrigation Manufacturers had already placed a premium in developing water-wise equipment that could easily save 30-50 % of the water used in the landscape. As prices for water escalates, the conversion to new systems is appropriate. I & E Services’ Irrigators & Technicians can speak to these issues when they are on site, and give an expert opinion on how to improve your water usage.

Maintenance:

Landscape maintenance, performed by professionals like those employed by I & E Services, Inc., protects your investment, increases and preserves your property value, and enhances your property’s image in the community. Our staff of professionals are experienced and well supervised as they perform the ongoing maintenance of your property. All of the scheduled work, whether it involved our Licensed Applicators, or Licensed Irrigators, is assessed for quality, value, and effectiveness. All work is evaluated on an on-going basis to ensure that all of the services we provide are integral to your property’s health. All of the sustainable practices that we follow as a firm allow you to be assured that we mow and mulch when possible, recycle always, compost all materials that can be re-purposed, and continue to advocate for natural mulches in all of the landscape.
